Here at First Baptist Gulfport, our PURPOSE is to create a Christ-centered environment within the Children's Ministry (kids, parents, families, and leaders) that brings children and families to a relationship with Christ and others. A combination of Biblical studies and quality fellowship are the foundation of building these relationships.

          Every ministry and activity of First Baptist Gulfport is designed to equip children with a Biblical foundation to TRANSFORM their heart, BUILD a personal relationship with Jesus, IGNITE their desire to be a disciple and witness to others, and FOCUS their minds to seek God daily in all things.

We strive to provide a safe, caring, and spiritually nurturing environment to teach, care for, and AMPLIFY HOPE to the children and families in our church fellowship and in our community by connecting them to life in Jesus.

AWANA helps us to fulfill our mission of investing in a new generation who are grounded in God’s Word and growing in their relationships with Christ together.

We are looking forward to welcoming you and your children into the Children's Ministry at First Baptist Gulfport! When your children get into their Life Group, they will be engaging in age-graded Life Groups taught by loving teachers, all of whom will be sanitizing supplies and commonly touched areas frequently.

This is more than just a children's choir! Children who are in kindergarten - 6th Grade will be learning about music, why we worship, and all of the ways God has provided us to praise Him as we meet together each Wednesday from 6-7pm.
